What a weekend for Texas marching bands. From every corner of the state, students poured their hearts into the UIL Area contests—and it showed. Cedar Park, Aledo, Wakeland, and Mineola rose to the top in their areas, delivering powerful, emotional performances that reminded us why this activity matters so much. Dozens of other incredible programs also earned their spot at the State Marching Contest, setting the stage for another weekend full of energy, excellence, and unforgettable moments.
